ok so went out fishing down newbiggin south beach today to use last of my rag from monday i got down there for about 2 to fish low tide and blanked the first hour so i thought i might try something different so i picked a couple of limpets from the rocks and stuck 3 on a size 1/0 hook tipped with a rag tail and waited for about 15 mins and ooked into a undersized whiting then after having nothing again for a while and eventually ran out of bait so i decided just to use limpets and within 3/4 of an hour i pulled in a 1lbish flatty. Finally a day i didnt blank all n all a good day nice weather too and now i know limpets are suprisingly good :D

hi mate not bothad what any one says but limpets all day ther a killer mate ther always around so fish are ganna take tham av got my 2nd beast pb fish on tham :d garding sligs r the boy too :D
 
i thought garden slugs wud blow up in salty water haha wey am pretty new to sea fishing mate and till hve a lot to learn but any advice is awsome
 
haha good mite give them a gan next time n dya go down south beach whats the crack with dead birds getting washed up there were two gulls on the rocks one looked like it was on steroids it was huge mate lol
 
garden vormz never go out without any in ya tackle box ive had gud cod on them ,massive flounders n plaice and huge wrasse and pollock ,make sure ya wrap them in the sunday sport newspaper they get rather excited whilst in there ;)
 
i usually use them at mouth of river wansbeck how do you present them on the hook n sunday sport is a good read matey haha just giv the worms the advertiser haha

Well dead birds fall in the sea so I was thinking of trying a bit of road kill gull or raw beef/horse only been fishing a while but guna try all sorts of weird stuff. Me dad fishes Spain a lot for catfish n he's had 1 of his biggest 100lb on raw chicken but he says ther is a chicken farm on the bank
