You just said you were not in a comp then at end you say you were, no pic or scales no proof your next fish might be 13lbs 2oz so get scales, as for putting it back conservation fishing ?? is your mate Robson Green by any chance. I have a mate who once said he caught a 7pounder made him go to a reliable source to have fish weighed it turned out to be 4lbs 8 oz. Sounds like the chuckle brothers to me.

One of the best fish I've heard of so far this season!

cheers mate,the fish was a beast rocker,look like it had been round the block once or twice,wasnt clean in any way,but still a good catch,the lad had Nye on a 28lb haul an returned the lot,ive seen him throw lovely clean 3lb and 4lb fish back in numbers aswell,he just loves to catch them and might keep 1 once in a while

cracking result lads seems like up north is producing the bigger fish . the big kelpie yous caught av seen them in that state before all scared and battered not a nice picture like but welldone again

Caught a few by the looks of things, don't think NESA has many WUMs or Trolls on it's members list, so the majority wouldn't see that you were on a fishing trip!

Post some genuine fishing stuff please and try and contribute to what is a good site, but one that used to be much, much better.

It was a bit of fun and to clear things up for any one who has a sense of humour I used a sundaname as if I had posted comments under me, moose would have sussed it also I quoted not posted. Twisty how ever is a genuine user but she is sadly to busy keeping fishermen supplied with bait etc. so she cant go fishing as much as she would like to. She or I don't post as we don't get out that much but it is nice to see how our mates are getting on,Well done Moose you had a great night out well done.

I have as you can read that I apologised to any one who was drawn in to this, how ever if you read my later comments it may help you out im not a troll, im a disabled fisherman that sadly don't get out as much as I would like to and that is the only reason that I don't post.How ever I like to read posts and to keep an eye on what my mates are up to. hes your reply twisty,i wasn't in a competition,just friendly banter between mates,if we wanted to please people like you ,he would of kept fish,got proper pics and weighed and verified,but the fact is,your opinion means jack to any of us,believe,dont believe,please yasel,i handballed it up.,the bloke who caught it has fished for 35yr,caught numerous doubles,and a local lad thought 13 n half,like I said ive got pics just not the best as the lad was in hurry to get fish back safely,i can guarantee 90% of the lads on here woudnt of released it,probs including myself if the fish was cleaner and didn't have bite marks,he wasn't even bothered about me putting a post on here,we fished because we love to fish not to please people like you,if any of the lads on here don't believe my post,dont read anymore and don't comment,lads that know me know I wouldn't be telling porkies or exaggerating fish size in any way,it as just a post for the decent lads on here to enjoy
