Me and my OLD mate Jim decided to try a few hours up north last night, trying a mark wefished a few weeks ago, lat time it was a huge tide and a decent sea running, last night small tide and not much movement(or so we thought), any got there got there in the daylight to refamiliarise ourselves first. Started fishing with 2 hours to bottom tide, during this we might as well have played cards, although Jim did suspect he had a couple of knocks, then right on low water good bite and codling out for me, followed by another two bites resulting in 2 more codlings, poor OLD Jim blanked, never mind thats fishing so result was 3 codlings for 7lbs 13ozs best weighed 3lbs 4ozs, all to frozen crab and mussel.
We are gonna try again this Sunday early doors somwhere local providing sea comes away as forecast will let you know if we do.
