Fished on the sunday nite and was getting fish for about 2hrs, then when it got dark it went quiet, so i took your advice goggs and went to arbroath and had several pints of guinnes. On the monday morning went to dundee and bought some bait crab and mussel. Then went to boddin point Micky had 7 cod all averaging 4lb i had 3 again all about 4lb it realy was a bite a cast. Over the weekend we had 27 fish between us, we lost over 50 weights unfortunly alot of fish were lost aswel. it was a exellent weekend, it would have been nice to have fished with goggs and andy and then a few pints but im sure we can arange for that another time. Thanx for the bait goggs.

glad you had a good time scott and give me a shout when you are up again and we will meet up (before jan would be pushing it for me ;) )
looks like i will have to give boddin a visit this winter,to be honest i have only fished it in the summer and it is a cracking summer mark with loads of kelp, was there still colour in the water on monday?

Water was gin clear, fished 2hrs down to low water and then fished 4hrs into the flood. Got a few bites in daylite but as soon as it went dark it fished very well, very strong southly winds when we arrived around 11 o clock could hardly stand up in it and then after 1hr wind died down and made it alot more comfortable. seastate was flat.
