was listening on the radio on the way, some of players met the blackburn squad before the game, who couldn't believe that the blyth players had all been at work today, 9-5 - one of em putting a roof on an house in Bishop!

most of probably earn more a week than a blyth player does in a year

I thought they did very well to hold them down to just the one goal...and they looked dangerous themselves in the last ten minutes so full credit to them - they can hold their heads up very high
