Excellent days fishing. 5 on board plus Dave the skipper. Left Amble at 07:10 and headed South. First stop just south of Coquet Island and into fish straight away as 2 codling around the 2lb mark were brought aboard. Moved further south to Cresswell Skeers and then everyone started catching. Most fish between 2lb - 3lb with a few larger ones around 4lb mark, biggest of the day pulled the scales down to 6lb. Loads of scotchies and a couple of wrasse plus 1 pollack and a coalie. All in all a great day out in perfect weather.

I got out today too , fished next to Upholder down at Creswell skeres , the sea was flat as a billiard table at 10am when i set off down there and lumpy as owt on the way back at about 3.30 pm. I had a canny day though with a box full of cod fillets in the fridge for my efforts.
All we need now is some settled weather and happy days are here again :)
