ive just got myself a bait pump today , i know you cant dig one side of boulmer because of the trenches thats left from diggers , so i should be able to use my bait pump ....!

Have seen anglers using Bait pumps down there before Poacher. Have also tried for the blacks meself on a big tide. The signs at Boulmer explicitly show where you should and shouldn\'t dig for worms (although there are many interbred illiterates who ignore the signs).
Obviously it\'ll take you longer to get your worms as you have to use the pump over each individual hole as opposed to trench digging.

As someone involved with getting the agreement with ADC to allow bait \"collecting\" at Boulmer, when ADC wanted to close Boulmer completely, there should be no bait collecting of any kind north of the agreed line. Although as previously said some idiots do ignore this, and no doubt sooner or later this will cause the closure of Boulmer to any bait collecting whatsoever.
