UV Light

Just playing around with the UV light i got from e-bay 99p,
Tried it on a couple of lures tied with Ice dub, first one Holographic Chartreuse second UV Dark Olive,

that green shows up well john,sure to get you a few.
got some of that micro fritz through the post this week, nice stuff but its not the thread, i like so much on your flies, its like a purply colour but seems ultra violet,you wipped it into quite a few of the flies you tied for me, ill have to see if our lass can get a photo of it on here?

no it is thiner than that its a very fine thread you put a few strands around the body of a couple of damsels and the black fly you tied for me at witton,
you can just see it if you look on the photo for simon team stickiking out of the bottom behind the head , you use it very sparingly , but its that irridescent it has certainly hooked me, and i believe a lot of fish for yourself

Hi Simon,
That will be the Ice dub UV pearl, i add a little to most of the dubbing
i also add to hare's ear fur for that little bit sparkle.

that looks more like it john,only it was a purple colour

That would be the Black UV Ice dub it has the purple mix in it.
