Video livestreaming

Just wondered if any peeps have tried to video a fishing session or trip,its probably more suitable for boatfishing where theres more action taking place.Can\'t ever remember seeing anything on here in the past regarding livestreaming,Is it possible to do it on here ?

the problem with live streaming is going to be getting a connection with sufficient bandwidth at the fishing location. You could do it with wireless networking if your within range of a network (WiFi) Basically we are talking about all the same requirements youd need for a webcam.

you caould possibly do it with a 3G mobile phone but the bandwidth would severely limit the quality of image you could broadcast. give it a few years though and I bet we\'ll all be doing it direct from our mobiles

Does the site have the requirements to handle a ordinary digi camcorder rather than livestreaming it

you could upload it via the uploader, and just put a link to the file in a thread

Thats what I was thinking about Mark,it was just a thought if someone fancied a go sometime !

Until Mark set up the separate uploader, it wasn\'t even possible to put pix on the Board.

Have you now enabled the Mpeg, AVI formats Mark?

I know you thought about it, originally, but decided against it.

best double check first, but I\'m sure I reset things ages ago so the uploader will accept AVI, DIVX, MOV & MPG
