Bought LZIII when it 1st came out......No idea what happened to it.......after hearing that, I\'m gonna have to buy it again.....only thing is, it\'ll be on CD now......I wonder if you still get the rotating graphics insert in the front cover ???

\'fraid you don\'t Tony, although it\'s looks like you do until the take the front cover out of the case. Well worth replacing though, it\'s a classic.

there weren\'t that many copies of III that had the rotating insert, all the re-issues after the original relese were just a plain printed sleeve

one of my fave zep albumns along with houses of the holy and the best thing they ever did Physical Grafitti, which also had a strange die cut insert

its one of the great shames about the demise of vinyl, sleeve artwork is rubbish these days. Physical grafitti and III must of cost a fortune to manufacture

On the subject of elaborate LP covers and the cost involved in producing them..........

Anybody buy Jethro Tulls\' \"Thick as a Brick\" ??

The cover opened out into a spoof newpaper......\"The St. Cleve Gazette\", if I remember rightly........all the stories & articles related to some part of the music on the album.......excellent packaging......couldn\'t do that today, apart from the prohibitive size / format of CDs, the cost in producing it would be immense.

Think my dad has the led zepp album with the rotating cover.....he always got a bit arsy about us playing with it when we were little....so it should be in fairly good nick......do you reckon it would be worth anything.....

Aye, I\'ve still got thick as a brick, thats another one where future releases had been paired down to just printing one bit of the fold out on the sleeve.
