Only 2 weighed in tonight; Dave Bentley winning with a codling of 1-15 from Codger's Corner (Pipe skeers), second Chris Stringer with two flounders for 1-10 from Tynemouth beach. I managed 8 fish (3 whiting, a bass, 3 flounders and a rockling) non of which were size, although one or two came close. Oh well.........................................................

Thanks for putting the result up Gary. Chris must have been fishing along the other end of the beach.

Yeah, he was fishing just south of Stony Bottom, & got haversacked by three other lads (one of whom got a size codling!). Just glad I didn't wander up and make things worse! Forgot to say earlier (for anyone interested) I was fishing the south end of the beach by the bathing pool skeer.
