i find it normally starts fishing good when its just getting dark normally a codling a chuck, i dont go there when its big tides neither as it becomes a bit snaggy
and its big tides all week...
i had a good session there about 2 weeks ago got a nice codling every chuck im sure it was just starting to flood, lost a nice fish there on thursday night about 3lb codling i got tangled with some 1s line and couldnt get the fish next to me when i walked back the rig line snapped was gutted
i normally fish the left hand side next to the steps coming down from the houses theres buoys right infront them steps so i go a little to the right to miss the buoys when the tides coming in. yeah its a good fishing spot i normally fish there or south shields pier
so if any1 catches a codling with the hook in its mouth it was mine![]()
