I fished the Walkway last night about 8.30pm to 11.45pm (HW). Baits lug, rag and bluey. NE wind made my eyes water but wasn't too bad. I was into fish from the first cast and had none stop action the whole of the session. Finished up with eight codling (including several double shots), seven coalies and two dabs so a total of seventeen fish over three hours. Nothing of any great size but excellent sport and I was glad to get home for a rest :)

Yeah I only had fourteen last week and that took four hours :) I wasn't targeting scorpions last night don't think you get them at the Walkway was hoping for an eelpout for the WSF species hunt but none were about. Good luck on the pier Rob there's bound to be some fish there with your name on them and hopefully bigger than 29cm :p

Never had big problems with snags on the Walkway on any tide. So long as it is not too big. Sometimes pull in big strands of kelp but never lost a rig. I was advised only to go there on tides up to a max of around 4.7m 'though. Have fished 2 hrs either side of high water at 4.7m, no bother with a 6 oz breakaway and a good chuck to the middle.

Aye Craig come along mate. I'm next out Sunday morning stupid oclock text me if you want to meet up. Can't guarantee you'll catch though :p
