Fished low water up for a couple of hours coddling a cast some close to size then a few coalys to size then a massive lobster the size of my box which is getting eaten by Mark gg then second to last cast great bite slack liner but as the wind was howling down the tyne reeled in and struck... fish on was a nice fish fighting hard all the way in trying to dive down got it to surface looked around 4lb mark just as I went tighten the line it come off  windy day but good day what was fairly clear considering the rain no weed. Small baits at distance worked best bigger baits got fish but not as fast.

Sounds like a good session mate that winds stronger than the forecast I was looking at but shame about the lost fish

Yea its a good mark for plenty of sport with the chance of a good fish wind was really belting down the river as I left was only another lad right on the bottom corner and a young lad and fella turned up as I was leaving

Well done on getting some fish out of there today. I had a look along the Walkway after I'd been to the pier and the wind was terrible.

phil were you up top corner cos me n our lass had a walk up early doors and was a few on.
think peter seymor was at top also.

Cheers for the lobster he is now cooked and chilling in my fridge, he'll be eaten tomorrow for my tea, none for Mrs Green though, although it would feed two, I'm just greedy lol
