Walkway 31/12/12

Since i really hate new years i decided to Have a few hours fishing, well 3hrs at the walkway before going out for a meal.

Picked the walkway as a lazy man's spot and a few good reports of late. With the tackle shop shut i used things out my freezer, 15 crab, 10 runnydown, mackerel and other odd things.

Fished 2 rods with 2/0 flapper rigs on and it was a fish a chuck, between the two rods i had 1 cast in 3hrs that never resulted in a fish.

Total 3 codling best 2lb 3oz gutted
15 whiting all size best about 2lb
4 rockling
1 small dab
1 small coalie

7 other people fishing and seen a few whiting landed all good size.

Nice litte sesh with 1 for the table......Happy New year all

Glad you got out Richy. Sounds like a good session to keep your hand in until April.

Sounds like a canny sesh mate, just goes to show that the frozen stuff can come up trumps at times.
