nice catch :)

Aye it was a canny session half a dozen nice size whiting and a mackerel for table isn't too bad, considering a few were undersized and went back aswell.

I caught my first weever last night I thought it was a small codling or coley at first, that little black fin on top popped up I knew straight away it was a weever, thanks to waco's advice a few weeks back it was unhooked and went back without any tears lol.

The night started bad with a young lad who was spinning dragging Lenny into snags 3 times in about the first hour. Then the action started with a shoal of sprats making the water boil, then a few mackerel were caught, then the whiting came on for about an hour great night fishing.

There was nowt doing with crab baits, everything as Lenny said was caught on rag and mackerel strips.

Nice sesh lads. Yer that's ONE of the problems with the walkway, it's a small mark and you'll get the inevitable cross lines with others, especially inexperienced ones.

i guess you will get that wherever you fish....just one of those things that cant be helped sometimes

but when you are casting uptide to hold bottom and the people next to you cast straight out with a plain lead on it does get annoying after the 5th or 6th time, i have even offered to give them grip leads in the past
never mind i guess its all down to the learning curve of fishing

Yer mate, but it's amplified there. I posted exactly what you've just said earlier on in the year.
