fished it from 830 till 230am was better at low small flaties and codling on rag from 12 onwards got nothing by 2am it was unfishable as the pull was to strong drove along the slabs but couldnt see anyone fishing so went home
At least u didnt blank mate tyne is chocka block with small stuff. My friend caught plenty with only a small cast on a spining rod. I was getting bites father out with bigger baits but think it was only small stuff also
yeah was using big baits 4/0 loads of bites so dropped to 2/0 2 hook flapper then got little hand size flatties and codling until the pull got to strong then was just getting snagged
