Walkway last night.

Had a day off work yesterday so after I done me
bits and bobs had me tea i headed off down the tyne
got down about 7ish met up with Dave (parrot)
he had nowt all night he left about 10ish. I managed
4 codling out before he left I stayed for a couple more
and wangled another 8 codling out 6 where size
biggest 1lb 15oz which came home with me the rest put
back safe to fight another day I left about 1 am all
fish took lug again and wouldn't take anything else
I had crab and rag.

well done mate. People tell me that mark is snaggy - whats your opinion please? I have a soft spot for Groyne which is rather tackle hungry but any suggestions to improve in this aspect welcome from you's more experienced anglers

I have never been snagged on the walkway, must have got lucky. Sometimes pull big chunks of kelp up but never lost a lead. I am amazed you could hold Ok in that big tide though Eddie. Did you have to use a big lead ? Great fishing.
