took two gransons and neice to fish the walkway, both days they fished( i didn't have time) saturday they caught around fifty fish between them, nearly all coleys, eight year old grandson also had a rockling and a flattie, he was over the moon. sunday not as many fish, young un had another flattie much to his brothers disgust! neice had a weever in her catch, bait used was rag both days, most fish caught straight down the side,both days fished a couple of hours either side of high water, really enjoyed watching them have such fun, but was worn out baiting up and unhooking for the three of them, saw a couple of size codling taken on both days.
but i enjoyed it almost as much as if i'd fished myself, they even had a go at casting themselves, only because we had plenty of room, nowt better than a days fishing for the kids, not too dear either.
