Well guys had our compo yesterday night and what a good time. Weather cleared up lovely.
Ian Ainslee (Seaham) got biggest fish 39 cm cod. Ian Jackson biggest bag, 1 Plaice and a two Cod. Each got £16 prize money. I came second in compo with a cod of 38cm and a coalie.
After guys packed up me and Ian stayed behind and had some of the rats to keep us company from the riverside.(seriously). They enjoyed munching on some old worm and razer but kept there distance.
Ian Jackson got a couple more cod (he had five keepers but they all went back)and i struggled to get anything else.
Bait of the day was peeler.
Biggest laugh was Ian Ainslee hitting one of the metal lights with his sinker-how the light survived i,ll never know.
