Walkway St Paddys Day 17/03/2013

I headed down the walkway this morning just after first light and fished 5.45am to 9am up to and over high water then two and half hours of the ebb. Baits used rag, mackerel and isomes. The rain thrashed down for the first couple of hours but there was not much wind so it was ok. I caught a flounder on rag and an undersize codling on mackerel. I had a few other knocks which did not connect but they tailed off once the sun was fully up.

It looks like it was way and bleak mate and the fishing not much better

Looks nice and tidy lol, better than blanking Mike well done mate for sticking it out, that damp weather can be soul destroying early doors.

Thanks Pete. Yeah there was hardly any rubbish there. Just a few bits of line next to me which I put in my bin bag. Maybe the rain had washed it all away
