Hi lads fished a couple of hours at the walkway, south shields over low tide then headed up to lynemouth beach for high water on sunday.
Had a couple of titchy codling along with whiting and dab at the walkway but just as the tide began to flood I picked up a 3lb 2 ounce codling.
Things then went quiet so knowing that there was a decent sea on I made a last minute decision and headed off to Lynemouth for high water in the hope of a better fish. The sea was pretty big up there but I found a sheltered spot up at the north end of the beach.
First cast and I landed a small codling of a pound and a half, things looked great but unfortunately that was to be my last fish of the day.
By the looks of it and from others posts, I think my next session will be a long one in the river, lol. Tightlines, lads.
