Fished the walkway from 1.30pm till 5.30pm this afternoon.
2 Rods, single hook flapper on one and a Pulley Rig on the other. Both were baited with Ragworm.
not a single noticeable bite all afternoon.
.......
.......apart from 2 Crabs and a Metric Ton of Seaweed.
With the big tides all week the current was quite strong on the flood and my lines must have dredged half the Tyne this afternoon.
managed not to lose any gear though, although at one point I turned to find my Kompressor SS lifted up off the ground and heading towards the drink!!!!
very close call!!!!
With the dissapointment of this afternoon still looming I headed out for Trow tonight with my Spinning Rod and a selection of Plugs & lures... desperate times call for desperate measures!
Only fished for 1 hour and a half at Trow but nothing to show for it either, 17 hours in on the lures now and still nothing..... but im gonna keep at it.
I'm writing off today to experience!
