well lads went to the walkway the nite bout 6 pm small bites then a good pull down got into a good fish rod was doubled over got hung up with it give it loads of slack just couldnt budge it line snaped then next cast bang on bottom water was rewarded with this beauty had another bout 2.5 lb just lipped threw that one back wasnt a bad nite

weighed it wen i got home 5lb 7oz got hung up with a bigger fish sum guy next to me couldnt believe it he had a hold of me rod it nearly pulled it out his hands wen i was trying to ease it of then me line snapped

Hi Totty,
Was many fishing the walkway when you caught your cod, and were they catching owt.
I was all set to go to the walkway, but popped on Roker pier first. i lost 3 rigs in only half a dozen casts, so packed up after about 3 hours, sick as a ****.
I wish i just went straight to the walkway, might have more luck. Well done on ye catch m8.

i mate it was chocka wasnt much gettin caught fished the end between the 2 jettys was only there bout 2 hours

Was a nice fish mate, was me who weighed it for you at the walkway. My scales must be buggered if it only weighed 5 2 on mine. Just wonder how big mine actually was when it weighed just over 6 on them? Was a canny fish as not much else down there
