Weldone on the fish Stan but a big weldone on the tidy up which should not be left for others todo tramps mate ..... Lazy tramps it's the same at the ratty to mate

Sounds like a canny day out Stan. Shame about the mess, some people you just can't reach, they boot the arse out of places then whinge when they can't fish there any more.

Sheer laziness ! the rat house is shocking as well . If you fish them clean up after yourself simple. Ugly fish by the way Stan but I bet it taste nice

nice one stan canny fish 4 ur tea ive been down there a few times for a walk with the dogs and seen the mess its a shame coz its a canny shot if people clean up after they finish fishing gives less reason for the residents to kick off

Good catch, pity about the eye, seems to be a lot of eyeless fish in the Tyne lately.

Pity about the mess as well, I was there last Friday and it was ok, must of been off the weekend, theres no need like, there's even bins along there!

Pity about the mess that scumbags leave behind Stan.
Glad you managed a few fish & that the boys were there to keep an eye on you.

Well done stan. Me and simon fished walkway NYE and the while stretch was tidy hardly any line or anything few razor shells lying but that's it. I chucked them in the water though

I have never fished the walkway have you got to be a good caster to get out from the snags.
was down on suday just for a ride out with the wife and me dog had a walk along some of the marks some of the guys talk about on this site. as the only one I used to fish was mill dam many many moons ago, as I have just started back sea fishing November last year. any advice lads :red:

A bigger chuck will put you into the channel and away from most of the snags. Also you will find more run of tide.

IMO I don't think you land a codling if your not in the channel

Daft question as I've never fished there (Seaham and up around Amble in the main) but where would you head to have a shout of a decent fish there. Don't know the walkway at all.

I would say anywhere on there mate and just stick a big bait out in the middle. I always get the impression its pot luck really on that mark and you are just hoping to intercept passing fish on the tide. Prefer the flood myself and always feel it would be better on bigger tides, but the flow can get a bit much. Me I wouldn't go without crab.
