just fished the walkway for 3 and half hours. blanked. not even a sniff

It was the same for me on Friday mate 3hours and nowt so packed up and went home, bring on the summer species to get the spinning rod out.

Aye mate last time I was there last week and after 5 hours only 1 whiting for me, mind I seen quite a few tiny codling. We need these winds to change, they have been westerlies for as long as I can remember. People keep saying the northerlies are coming but they last a day or 2 tops then go back to westerly.

Fingers crossed the fishing picks up again, I am still trying for my first sized cod.

Where were you? I popped down for an hour. Just used some frozen crab whilst wor lass done a bit shopping. Still blanked too but didn't want to park the car there. It got a nasty scratch when I parked there last.

The walkway had it's day. From November over Xmas and January. Fished there for about 15 sessions straight!! Lol....
Think it's get on the piers and hope for a pig with big baits or hope for the wind to change sharpish!!

ive just came off the end of he pier. fished 4 - 8, blanked.
about 20 rods on the end, only seen the one codling 5lb.

I fished bottom water first light and early flood on the pier end ,rubbish only had two dabs and they were the only fish i saw ....
