fished the walkway today 2up and a 1hour down whiting from the off nowt big maybe a couple size who ever had been fishing b4 us had left a load of crab shells and legs instead of throwing them in the water no the wonder the residents are sick would you like this at your back door we,ll loose it if we are not careful .
 
Same old story m8 a mindless few give the rest of us a bad name. Its always been the same and think it always will unfortunately

was there this morning about 10am for walk plenty of anglers having a club comp if you look at the last house he has put cameras up so watch out looks like hes naming and shaming local anglers,he had even cut his bushes down for better coverage.
 
so its seems it maybe someone from the club comp as the legs and shells where fresh lets be hope nobody had names on thier tops as the camera might name and shame them.

If it is the same guy I am thinking of then he is an ar$ehole who may well have previous for abusing anglers and going so far as keying anglers cars. Seems he bought a nice flat overlooking the river and thinks this gives him the right to control who uses the public Walkway and he certainly doesn't like anglers disturbing his view. Plod have already been involved in the past when he called them to complain about anglers parking on the public highway - they told him to do one and he has been pursuing a personal vendetta against anlglers ever since.

A quick google also suggests he is in contravention of both the Data Protection Act and Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights. It is one thing to set up CCTV to monitor your own private property (legal), it is quite another to set up private CCTV cameras to monitor a public space.

Someone who was down there and has seen the cameras needs to make a call to South Tyneside Council on Monday and complain about them.

Still think good on the guy?

l agree with you stan nowt wrong in kicking them in the water ground bait l went to walkway 1am this morning the tide was ripping in but first cast pulled out a sized cod ill put up report see you soon:D
 
didnt realise that this is the same guy that was mentioned in a previous post my view has changed completley now like. when i worked on security i was told that you can be fined up to 5 grand for pointing the cameras the wrong way lets hope this rule is the same for a residential camera ha ha. Lets all phone the council on him would like the address posted on ere
 
It is breaking human rights for someone to be filming the public. I know someone who put their camera on the front of their drive for anti social behaviour and the police knocked on his door to tell him it was only allowed to point at his door. If he's the same guy who has scratched cars and gave people abuse maybe he should get the same treatment.
 
yep, the guy who has the camera is a ar$ehole! had a running in with him a few weeks ago, hes lucky he never got a good slapping! but id be ****ed off if people were ****ing up my wall.
 
well said chaps, it certainly is an offence to be recording data other than your own front door, as my employer found out a couple of year ago when they tried to use it against me for washing me beamer at work !:eek: this bloke needs putting to bed asap, cheers korky.
 
ive been down a few times and thought no wounder he keeps complaing with the shouting and cary on down that end....doesnt help when people are p*****g up his propety too i guess

if you think about it how many of us would put up with it ? im sure i wouldnt

like most have said its only a small number thats doing it and half the time im sure they do it to winde him up :(
as for the camera last time i was there it was still pointing along his property
 
I was down there a few weeks ago and the lad I went with had his car done. Massive scratch down the passenger side, from the front wing to the back. We thought it was kids. I think of myself a considerate angler. I always take my rubbish home and leave the place as how I would expect to find it. So as it has been said the 1% are ruining it for the other 99% but the 100% on the whole are getting the back lash.

l my car l had till l got rid of it citreon was scatch along the side from the back to front parked next to yaht club l no it was that old tw-t he has a little dog if he touches this car ill be paying a visit with the police:mad:
 
Can't understand why people pee up the walls like when there's a massive expanse of water which would absorb as much as us anglers could bleed out of the snake. It's not going to pollute it or harm the fishing in any way. There's bins for the rubbish so I can't get my head around why that is an issue but I've even puicked rubbish up myself when there which was leaned up against one of the bins?? I've fished there since a kid and even fished the jetty when it was Velvas and have to say I have never peed anywhere but the water or left 1 single bit of rubbish but have a feeling that I will eventually be penalised for other numpties
