This time of year you want flat seas settled and warm weather. Fish like pollock wrasse and kelpy cod like weather like that the northlies will dirty the water and put it all back a few weeks

Best off sticking to the beaches and estuaries fishing for flats. There has been some nice plaice starting to show.
