Had planned to fish Kirkudbright this weekend with the bairns (float fishing and spinning artificials) but can I hell get hold of any in-line barrel or bullet weights? If anyone is in the know as to where I can buy any, or if anyone can help me out with some I would be most grateful as I\'d hate to let the kids down when they\'re so keen. :D :D

Rob
Try spotty dog tackle in stockton. I know they have inline cigar shape weights etc and they are cheap as chips. Give them a ring on 01642601171 they will process orders over the phone if you are not local. Paul the owner, wife Cheryl and son Richard are really helpful and can not do enough to help people.
If you ring just say I told you about them.
Regards
Jason

ps. Looking at your timescales if you speak to them early tomorrow they will have them in the post to you by lunchtime.

Cheers Jason. I might have to have a run down there tomorrow if nothing closer materialises (no faith in the Royal Mail anymore!!)

Rob, dunno where you live, but the tackle shop in Washington (Concord) has bullet weights...where abouts in Kirkcudbright are you heading?

Cheers Davy, I didn\'t even know there was a tackle shop in Concord! That\'ll be closer to Shields than Stockton.

Dunno where I\'m heading yet. Got a few good marks off Keegy on this site last week (cheers again John!) so I \'ll probably try one of those. One\'s things for certain, I\'ll not be going as far as Whithorn. The last trip there (pun intended) cost me 10 weeks on the sick, a limp and about £900 in lost shift allowance. Our lass was over the moon!!

Got sorted with some bullet weights in Concord, cheers Davy. He\'s not the cheapest though so I\'ll probably have a look down at Spotty Dog (Cheers Jason). Found some bullet moulds at Veals but can\'t find any barrel/cigar moulds? Might just buy a torpedo mould and cast them without wires and then drill them.
