Come on you lot thinking caps on. I am after a lockable plastic box for the back of my motor home al least 1.2 meters long to hold poles, awning wellies etc. Normal places have already ben tried any ideas or do you have one.

plastic \'garden store\'/mini shed type thing, plastic, lockable, got a lid/doors 4or 5 foot long 2 or 3 feet high

just an idea

seen those when we where looking at other types at B &Q the mini stores a bit big and opened the wrong way, the other boxes look alright, going to have to find out how much weight bike carrier can take. Any more ideas appreciated, personally i would just hoy everything in a big sack and tie it to the rack but thats me.

alan how much you looking to spend ? my gaffer might be getting rid of one of them steel tool store boxes that normaly fit on the back of a pickup ,well secure might bea tad heavy thougfh ?

Hi Bri had thought about one of those but they will be to heavy, after having a good look this afternoon with son i think we might have to revise our polans as to what we will be able to take weight wise.

what we will be able to take weight wise.

take where lol ?ok forget that lol just read the post again ,first time round i thought it said back of your mothers home ,,jees need my eyes tested

got uor roof box in \'motorworld\' (used to be charlie browns) on Chilli road last summer. was only 60 quid

cheers for the help lads, plan A has had to be scrapped, bike rack would only hold 50kg, not chancing putting awaning and poles on it. Plan B, box from B&Q £16 will take all light stuff wellies hoses, the odd grandchild etc. Thanks again

Alan, have you tried \"Arco\" at chainbridge road industrial est, Blaydon. They do a variaty of industrial storage boxes. Maybe they will have one that suitas your requirements.

cheers Mike, will prodably pop up there next week to see what they have. Tahnks again everybody. Why tire your own brain out when you can use other peoples.
