As the man say's yes ok in the rain but it's best to know your marks for water depth some marks high water is best but this is just down to the ground your fishing ie fishing over rough ground at low water will give you more snags and more loss of gear but if you're fishing around deep holes and gullies then low water sometimes is better to get a lure into the fish
