Just a quick note lads,
I've sent the letter in this morning & spoke to a guy from the council he told me they have had a few complaints regarding Delta 1 & with my letter they should have enough evidence to cancel their contract with them..
Although I was pi**ed off I hope nobody looses their job..
And like a few have said the police couldnt of been more helpful :thumbup:

Well done for following it up Ant but I'm afraid I disagree with you about people losing their jobs. Their should be at least two that are sacked, the person that locked the car park early and the person that answered the phone to the Police telling them that no one would be coming out to free you from the car park, knowing full well that it had been closed early. I don't know what I would have done if it had been me and I couldn't get out as I live in Consett.
As said, well done to the Police for being as helpful as they could and also well done to South Tyneside Council for hopefully getting shot of a cowboy outfit.

Too right Gaverick, what if when you got back to your car Ant, and you had a phone call and there was an emergency at home and you could'nt get out to help?
Don't you feel guilty, you did nothing wrong at all, the people that did this are really stupid people to think that they can get away with treating people with contempt and deserve everything they get. More people should do what you did and take things further instead of saying "Oh well never mind at least I got my car out"

It's very doubtful DeltaOne would sack him..... In all honesty when I was working for them it was the controller and HO that was telling them to cut corners i.e. lock up early. He might get made a scape goat but it was probably the controllers wanting to get it all done so they could have a kip.....

my old firm where the same anything to make there lives better they dont care who it affects and as far as sacking the guard that locked the gate early i very much doubt it will happen either just means they may have lost a contract that will be replaced just as quick if they are anything like the rest of the security firms

You should have been in the club on monday night mate, there were loads of birds in, geet long legs and very nice looking, some were puffing there chests out aswell. Really nice scenery!
