it seems that there has been a message in local papers if caught climbing on roker pier whilst gates is shut shall result in prosecution why? the writers them selfs know even shields pier whilst closed folk get on even tynemouth ,rathouse ,cambios ,and the heugh hartlepool and many other areas and nothing mentioned ...so why has this pier goto be different ,must be the trespass campaign starting there rubbish rant again .. what are your thoughts :confused:

maybe down to new gates trying to set an example.

talk sense john why is other piers etc different they cud have golden gates

thats what im getting at and nothing ever gets said :o
 
It was always going to happen after they spent coin on new gates.
At the same time though if they are locked then its for a reason, not always but usually.
Its probably just a rumour started by someone who wants the place to themselves
 
Because they are new.

In a few months time it will all blow over and normal service will be resumed.

ya probs reet roy never have i read an article saying dont fish south shields pier whilst the gates are locked but even tackle shop owners policeman ,firemen you name it and top anglers still venture on there and honestly ive seen them on roker pier and followers on a monday night if closed :D

roll on monday night eh, fish will be jumping out of the water. Nee gates for me to climb, hopefully the only struggles i face will be lifting them pigs up the cliffs and hauling theyre asses back to the weigh in!
