There were 150 around 1.25 lb and 150 around 1.75 lb and a few in the 4 to 7 lb range all in prime condition.
After stocking, I stayed on to fish for a while and, as it was far too wild for 'the fly', decided to dabble a worm beside the dock. Ironically, after stocking over 300 trout, I landed a prime 'wild' fish of around 1.75 lb. The bonniest marked fish I've seen for years.
Looks canny for the weekend (weather permitting)
