Wasps

A can of wasp nest destroyer and nerves of steel.

I had 2 nests in my loft a few years back.

I had to psyche my self up before doing it, it worked though :-)

Wasps Nest

Hi Guys.
I had to deck this loft out last year and didn't have the heart to destroy the work of art that the wasps had made.
It is an amazing piece of engineering, all made from tree bark which they pulp and form the dome.
I donned up with bee keepers headgear, gloves and overalls, and I have to say, they weren’t that interested in me.
I went back in December last year and cut it out, still one or two active wasps but very docile as the cold weather kills them off, apart from the Queen, who sets up another colony, It was very fragile being made of paper and so light.
Anyway, I gave it to a School in Newcastle for their science lessons, it’s even more fascinating inside, I’ve mislaid the photos, but will look and post.

Pay some sucker to do the work costa, should be good entertainment watching from yer nearby motor, windows and vents shut obviously and engine running:D

It’s tiny, just give it a whack with a stick then run, there cannot be many wasps in there to chase you. Or if they’re not causing any bother just leave them, they don’t nest in the sample place two year in a row.

Easy for you to say:D:D
