Well, sitting at sceen here intently watching the sea via the internet ..
been to coast this morning but was unhapily surprised at how big the sea still is(was) ...
2.40pm Saurday .... its still a no go unless it eases ....... but the forcast says it will drop off tonight so there's still hope....

Boat Prepped, batteries charged, bait at the ready, shads... got a couple :) :) ,Fuel tank ... well, fill it in the morning, dont want to waste all the interest on the cost of a tank full not being used ,,, (joke, honest), hooks sharpened, rod at the ready (new sonik sk4), reel loaded (new TLD 15 and new Dynon 3000), nothing else to do but .... wait and see.
At least the forecasts are pretty well correct and if it does drop off swell wise theres not a return of the easterlies until after 2.00pm
by which time I should be well comfortable in front of the telly watching Man City getting a pasting at SJP .... yes SJP.

good hunting lads and lasses, I hope it drops off as expected, see yous at 4.30am ....

Cold, windy, rough and not too many fish about just yet scotty, will be much better in about 4 to 6 weeks (I hope) when the mackerel arrive ... we have to be patient ........ :) but wait and see :)

Same as you Norman been watching since 6am and when i went for water at the coast it was rough as, watching the two web cam's and the Roker one looks like the sea is white with how far out the breakers are...not good viewing, if we do make it out its going to be Knee pads and extra pants to take the blows from being chucked around the boat as them NE rollers will never drop off by the morning but fingers crossed they reduce in size and distance to call it a "lazy roll" in my terms sick of not fishing so stuff it its fishable aka "lazy roll"

Aye I like your thinking Rich ... :) :) ... keep safe, we've got the phone numbers and chan 6 & 8 .. see you out there (I expect) :).

"lazy roll?" ... yeah, I'll go for that :)

year can not w8t to get on a nother trip

Well i will take a final check at 6pm before going out but told the crew to be ready, late start as i feel the longer its left the better it will be same as a few weeks back, going SW around 3-4am that should take the chop off and leave the NE rollers...thats my feeling anyway,,,if am wrong its pub for the Man city v toon match

If i make it out i then have to see, north or south, did both last time and both poow but think waves behind on way in than heading into them on way back maybe suited if we had a hard day being chucked around
