Watching the weather ..... fingers crossed !

Best of luck lads, wind has dropped as forecasted and the water is dropping (at Hartlepool), i think everyone is chomping at the bit to get out, one thing is for sure Phantom 1 is sailing at 6:30 LATEST, no matter what.

So get those home made jiggers ready, pan handles with a treble and toilet handles with assist hooks and all of that, asda at hartlepool has run out of pork pies, so thats one boat fcuked. There must be thousands of shads and sidewinders ****tin themselves coz of the mass slaughter tomorrow.

Well, couldn't rest, just back in, been down the beach top at Blackhall....
........LOVELY......its getting towards LW and there are breakers for about a hundred yards (hundredandodd meters for you euros) then broken swells, no white tops, no black lines.....................semi on now.............:)
no doubt there's a lot of movement offshore, but the breeze is west and light.

Well weather got it spot on today nice little window from 7am until 3pm before that wind got up, still hard work but cod,ling,coalie,whiting,pouting...they starting to show just need MORE :)
 
Well if the weather is right i maybe going for a Monday trip out...you off Graham got two spots? next 4 weeks its every Monday and Friday out fishing if the weather lets me i think :)
 
Mixed forecasts Richy but we may be able to get out at the weekend, Saturday is looing possible. I went down to the marina tonight to sort out a few odds and ends and fill up. The rain arrived at the same time as I did so ended up just drinking coffee and leaving again.
 
looks like there may be a window in the weather agin this weekend ... like last weekend.
The windows looks to be from 05.37 am to 06.12 am (approx) :) :)

only kidding (well half kidding) there does look to be a window but it's saturday only but pushing back in time all the while, I had hoped the rain would be gone by Friday morning to give a day of dry westerlies(northish) prior to weekend , but not to be. Fingers crossed it drops off early today (Friday)........

You can cetainly put me down for a few dates Richy. Like the Sat 19th - Sun 20th - Mon 21st - Mon 28th and not forgetting this Wkend ?????? the Sat 12th - Sun 13th - Mon 14th.
