Waterproof Mittens

OK I\'ve had all the gags about having them attached to my floatation suit and \"do they come in pink\".

If anyone is interested I\'ve just got a pair off eBay £5 delivered. One size fits all and I believe you would need hands like Garth to fill them! Easy on and, more importantly, quick off. Made by Sundridge apparently. Should keep the hands warm and dry.

If it\'s keeping your hands warm whilst waiting for that big cod bite you\'re after Mike, you can\'t get better than a pair of Dachstein Mitts.

Yep, they\'re a good bit dearer than the ones you\'ve quoted, but you\'ll not find any mitts better at keeping your hands warm.

I\'ve had a few pairs - my current ones are about 12 years old and still do the job they\'re meant to do.

They aren\'t waterproof, but because they are made from pure wool which has been boiled down to create a very thick, felt like, mat - they still keep your hands warm, even when they are soaking wet.

I\'ve never thought about using them when fishing........might just give them a run out next time it\'s REALLY cold.

Absolutely nothing Charlie.....but in these days of equality and diversity, the importance of the role of the mitten in society cannot be overlooked nor undervalued.
There is no reason why both pockets AND mittens cannot work hand in glove.......errmmm....so to speak.

For some reason my hands never get git cold, I am preparing myself for a barrage of quack diagnosises(?). My proper doctor reckons it is because I am quite hardy and prone towards the SAS and that.
