Is it worth a chuck wif al this rain got a few days off work .woz at whitby last week on the peir plenty ov people fishing but no macky managed 2 flaties that were returned nowt much else caught

If there's a lot of freshwater coming down the rivers then you just need to avoid the rivermouth's and the area immediately around them.

there hasnt been a great deal doing at saltburn last few days i had 2 macky on sunday and cupple of sml flounder, there was only bout 6 macky caught all day then yesterday i was bk down n only managed a postage stamp flounder and half dozen whities but that was on late tide, seas been too coloured for macky n all this rain is making the water bright orange coz of the stuff coming down the beck from the mines, few days of decent weather should see macky back but tides for this week arnt much cop. good luck if u go tho.

Had a trip down 2 saltburn @ 6 this morning till 10 nowt doin ,big swell, n 2 much weed gettin washed ashore , water woz very murky 2 .had a trip 2 the gare on the way home about 7 fishing but nowt much doin either
