Hi Chris,
I'm fishing Morecambe Bay on Saturday, a late go for the bass on the plugs, it's the day before the storm comes in. I'm in Amble for most of next week so hope to get out but it looks like strong offshore winds so will have to see what its like.
Where to fish? close to the harbour may be best. I'd be fishing the reef just to the north east of Coquet Island but watch out for the pots!

I am out but Sunday is a no go for sure.
Expecting it to not be great with a NNW roll on but fingers crossed its fishable for drifting wrecksand we will give it a bloody good go

i take it you have your own boat.
some of the charter vessels that are booked tomorrow from amble are waiting till tomorrow morning to make their decision.

Not like they are often right....remember this back in April "2013 will be the wettest summer on record" but they are now saying much of the UK will have snow by the 3rd-4th week of Oct???
