Weather...

I think we all feel the same, its shocking for the working man, i get a few Mondays and Fridays off with working shifts but its still a killer seeing the weekend weather.

Big ebbing tides in the afternoon and strong North wind makes for a fast bumpy drift pm, still hoping to get out in the morning and hit a few early then fall back onto the ground.

Ah, retirement, think I'll hit the wrecks tomorrow

I'm further down the coast. The plan is to have a go for the bass and Pollock in the morning, than try for the Cod and Ling in the afternoon. Probably do the same again on Friday. ...................... It's a hard life ..........:D

I would rather be 25 yrs old again and go fishing at the weekends

True, but that ain't going to happen. Rather than brood on it, make the most of what you've got.
So I'm going fishing Thursday and Friday. :D

Well lads n lasses, good news. I've just seen the weekend forecast, and it looks pretty good with light winds both days. Yeh.

An update on my last post. Wednesdays chart showed high pressure over uk with no isobars, but things hanve since changed, and now saying northerly winds a bit stronger than first thought:rolleyes: so l stand corrected, and a little intoxocated after my night out with the lads.

Another holiday Norm? you get more holidays than Santa ! im sure you wont get many txts the morra telling you how poor we are doing !!!!
Another sleepless friday night.......how am i going to stay awake for the England game:o Am sick of enjoying me self

Well i have just got in and i can say i have never seen the sea as flat as it was today, you could hear a pin drop in the sea and would cause more waves....lets hope it holds out 2 more days :)

few fish about but not loads, 100s of mackerel on the 7 mile mark, full house city at last

Well I got out yesterday and today. Fishing was a bit patchy, but we managed to get fish both days. I think the forecasters got the days mixed up a bit for the weather.

A few of the fish from yesterday.
