Weather?

I am out Thursday so will elt you know, big tides and wind so as stated will be a fast drift for much of the day...cant see it getting any worse than a slight sea thou.
 
Cheers lads looks like I might have to swallow the whole box of sickness tablets then.
Was hoping for a calm sea with it being my first trip, guess i'll know if av got sea legs after this trip then.
 
Yeah I always make sure I have something to eat before I go out. Nowt worse than having a load of acid sloshing around in your stomach & always good to have something in there if you're gonna be sick! :o

I used to be sick as a dog the first few times I went out, but then I learned that keeping your eyes out to sea like mentioned above keeps you from feeling rough. Didn't know about the fizzy drinks thing though, why is that bad? I always just drink water on the boat anyways so wouldn't affect me, but just wondered is all! :p
 
because when you are bobbing about at sea the fizzy drink is stirring up a bit like shaking a bottle only you dont have a lid so it comes flying back up :D
 
Haha, oh well I spose that makes sense! Well I shall be sure to steer clear of fizzy drinks then for fear of explosive sea sickness!!

Imagine throwing a Mentos into the equation too? :o Lethal! ;)
 
pmsl too true i have seen it many a time on the boat people think its only beer that makes you sick on the boat but i have seen lads drinking coke etc and it doesnt half come back up projectile vomiting isnt even the word :D

The more you think about it, the more it will happen. If you know some of the lads your fishing with, get stuck in with the "crack", have a laugh, with your mind on other things, you'll be fine.
 
I have just started cooking on my boat this year, so far i have made chicken curry and rice, stew with added veg, tin of curry, burgers and bums and next trip i have some bacon and that for a breakfast :)
 
Burger and bums, you never had it...you never lived..its the same as a rump.

Mind i am looking forward to when we start doing the racks of...on the boat :)

Hay when 8 out 10 weekends are a total fishing write off you have to find soemthing to do dont you.
