weavers we have had loads of them in the river wansbeck this last couple of weeks ,and you see all the kids in paddling and swimming ,i surely wouldnt let my kids paddle in there anymore ,on a lighter note we were out on the boats last weekend and we had some nice cod to 5lbs and some very nice plaice and dabs still plenty mackerel about as well . the odd pollack coalies and whiting ,so fishing is defo on the up,
