I got it in my favs now, it will save me a drive downt he coast on a friday night and you (Dave) a longer drive up the coast on a sat morning

You lot don\'t know HOW LONG I\'ve been searching the \'net for a webcam covering the N.E. coast.......lol

There\'s now a permanent link to the webcam in the SEA STATE area for the Tyne. (so you don\'t need to keep it in your favourites, Richy.....lol)

I\'ve sent an e-mail to the address given on the webcam site asking if would be OK to have the link. I\'ve also asked if live windspeed / direction could also be included.

TC ,as an added bonus the picture in marks post is a link and updates continually with the cam so not even the need to click the link above it ,,,, it`s alive ... Nice one !!

Well done Mark, as TC said some of us have been searching for years for a site like this. It looks like is comes from the Surfing community but I\'m sure they wont mind us anglers taking advantage of it. Wondered if any of the Tackle shops might help him out with sponsorships?

dont know if its just me but i have had the same picture on every time i look,it says it has just been updated but picture is still an old one?
Either that or it has been low water all day and the same bloke has not moved!
