Me and my mate Hughgee had a run up the coast last night for a few hours. Started at Hadston, but after a couple of chucks there was nowt but mountains of weed. Decided to give Cresswell a bash on the way back with pretty much the same problem. Never seen so much weed in my life. Thankfully the weed subsided for an hour or so near bottom water and we managed to get 3 cod out between us, all about 2.5. We both had other bites and lost a couple on the way in before the weed returned with a vengeance. All in all though a canny session.
