weekend boat fishing

bit late to post this as I've had a busy weekend but been out over the weekend and had a nice box of cod (all around the 5-7lb mark) and a few scottish haddock (bout 3/4lb) from some good hole spots. There coming in nice and the quality is good

hi meat loaf yes you can launch at newbiggin it is beach you can use either the coast guard ramp or the other 1 down by the park just about 200yrds further towards the church also yes its free both of them i would advise the 1 near the park as the sand is hard at that end if you use the coast guards dont leave your trailer on the ramp just leave on the beach it will be fine fished there all last year and had some realy good days also youll find the other lads realy helpful you get to no them they used to pull us up the beach with there tracktors hope this helps m8 happy fishing

there's lots of nice holes around there and i'd be very suprised if you caught nowt decent so give it a bash. Behind St. Mary's lighthouse is also a good spot
