any body going out this weekend boat fishing from tyne

Been down the marina all afternoon, a few boats said they are going out and also the JFK was planning a trip out and has a spot or two. Only seen you person come back in and they had 1 codling and a few pouting from the rough ground...smooth to slight sea so expect a few out...6 more weeks for me but just been doing a few odd jobs today

might give it try I think I seen the JFK coming in at around 4:30 Thursday night dont know if they had been out or just giving her a run out.

putting my boat on slip tomorrow change anodes then on next tide back on moorings change oil and filters then going out sunday no painting just getting ready for this season i think i saw you a couple of times last year is yours a arvour from royal quays north east i am on corporation quay

Yeh! I was on the tyne pier today, saw a nice Arvor heading out. It only stayed out about an hour or so then came back in. Cracking boat.

Lol won tham on a bid on eBay with about 50 jelly worms and hooks for shads for about £30 so was a bargan ;D sort u out with some wen a come abored stingray

Well spoke with 2 skippers that went out yesterday, seems to be alot of whiting about with the odd codling but not loads...still worth a trip out thou and am sure the charter boats and private boats will all find fish to keep the day ticking over...also heard of a 6lb monk fish caught at St Marys yesterday....never caught one but every year a couple turn up, Grace hada 24lber i think it was last year.
