Weekend forecast

To be honest mate, if it's your first time using the boat you want the conditions to be spot on, and if possible someone to ride shotgun with you so if you hit problems at least you can get a tow back. There will be plenty nice days to come :);)

Got me aux engine if main fails, oars too lol, by time I'm ready to head out me pals on the river will be heading out on exercise but that's no the route I'm looking to take. Yes its 1st boat but will know as head out if to big of a swell

Sat is looking possible and Sunday is looking better on today's forecast. I'll be out one of the two.

Monday and tuesday are looking good too :D, I'll be out sometime over the next few days, the tide times are good as well , just need the fish to play ball and everything will be hunky dory;)
Think I'll get the hat out though, got burned big style today

Thanks for that, unfortunately, Monday and Tuesday are about 15 years too early before I retire to make the most of them. :) It could be worth a day’s holiday though.

Sunday it is now as Saturday looks Lumpy! Just had a drive to Whitley to see the Olympic torch and there was a good bit of lift on:rolleyes:.
Off out on Monday or Tuesday as well fingers crossed!

Graham.

you think sea should have calmed abit by sunday 6am??
Desperate to give boat a little run out but with it being tiny dont want to risk anything.

From what I can see at the minute about ten-ish on Sunday looks do-able and improving all day with Monday and Tuesday fantastic! Have another look tonight en tomorrow night after six as thats when most of the site's update.

my plan for the next 24hrs

low tide 8:30am which means either an early launch from the ramp 1-2hrs before low and take a chance..or .............( i like this bit )

crack open the bombay sapphire, watch the footy,
and possibly piranha 3 DD :D later ...;)

off to bed..

have a run over to look at the sea in the morning ( about half 9 ) if it's fishable, phone phil and head down to the yacht club
( boat is allready prepared )

ring Jim ...;)

launch.....target's depend on sea state..catch some big uns......sorted

right.....where's the telly remote....;)

come on England.....:D:D:D.......where's me Gin............

good luck to any that venture out....

Continue drinking Budweiser, before, during and after the match.

Wake up slightly rough, consider going to work for a nano second, then head off to the shed to melt some more lead :D

You lads will be celebrating now. The sea and crews will be too rough tomorrow, but it’s dropping nicely so Sunday looks promising.
