just looking at a few weather sites. forecast for tynemouth for sunday, general consensus seems to be westerly 4-6mph, calm seas and sunny.

that probably means it\'ll be blowing a hoolie from the east and lashing with sleet and rain!

gonna try get out anyway

We\'re meant to be 25 miles out of Whitby on Sunday. BBC says great weather, and wether.co.uk says 18mph north west!

Hope the BBC have got it right for once! :D

Fingers crossed and hope you do get out.
September is regarded as THE month for big Ling off the wrecks, but the way the weather\'s been, there\'s not been much chance for the boat lads to get out at all. :( :(

50/50 that we get out Mike I say :exclam:

I shall be targetting the Pollack & Cod :P which means that I will probably only end up with sh!t loads of bloody Mackerel :casstet:

I am going to ring Dave Mason thursday and see if he is able to make it. If not i will start unpacking my summer boat gear and change over to my winter boat gear..not a great change othet than less lures and lots more baited traces and grip leads.

Hoping for Saturday as I have a commitment Sunday. Met office forecast marginal, but theyr.net wind forecast looks OK. We shall see.

just had my boat trip cancelled for tomorrow, heavy swell and strong winds, hopefully 3rd time lucky next time :(

At least your mini bar will be cold for the next 7 months Norman...well 12 months if its anything like last summer....yep i said it last summer :(

Not heard anything from the charters, i am sure they must have made it out a couple of days in the last 2 weeks.
