Weekend Weather.

Just looked at the charts and looks like it will be mostly northwesterly 10-12 mph not too cold about 15 degrees and cooling a bit for sunday. The wind will die slightly for sunday.
But dont take my word for it as i only do this as a hobby.
Will look again tomorrow and update again.

I was down the Royal.Q today (boats fine Dave) the chart on the wall said about the same...sea will be slight for the weekend so i am told. I seent he lads from down your way Dave, grafting like hell on there boat, she looks just abut finished and ready for the summer.

John, I`m sure the weather will be fine ........ to fibreglass th cabin
however may be difficult to fish in the strong drift.

Well I\'m fitting the ballastrades back up on to the shop after getting the new roof put on so I\'ll not even get to see the marina again this weekend.

I should have a couple of days off next week though so I can get down there and clean the boat up a littlle, I havn\'t been down since I last went out with Dave in December, God knows how much water there is in there. Hopefully if the weather is OK mid week I might evev get out!!!!

Norman if its a fast drift it will fish well over the main mark you and Dolly fishe don last weekend. Was in the local tackle shop today and a boat from sunderland had 6 double cod today (well so i was told)

I Think you made the right choice Dave, I`ve not been down to coast yet but it`s sure windy here, even though it`s a NW it`ll still be uncomfortable. Better Luck next weekend ......

Am heading down shields pier in 2hrs, the big tides should push the tide line in and bring some fish in...ill post a catch report if i get anything or not later on.

Anyone out this weekend? everytime i look at the weather it says something dif. Its warm sunny and no wind today yet the weather has it down as 15mph n wind and that.

just had a sea trial in my mates new boat and i am glad we only went as far as the fairway buoy at hartlepool. The sea is picking up now and will do as it easterly winds down here and picking up. Does not look good at all for the weekend. :(

That will make 3 out of 4 weekends called off now because of the weather...ooowww am not a happy bunny this year lol cant even fish the pier in a NE wind with daylights.

How do you fish the daylites on the pier Rich? Do you use a float or just a lead and knock it out and wind it back in?
